    Certificate and Course Director is Dr. Carlos Blanco, an expert in energy, commodity and financial risk management and modeling. He was a lecturer at Oxford Princeton Programme in 2004, where in addition to the certificate program, it also results in other courses, including counterparty risk management, and gas and energy trading and risk management.

    He has published over 100 articles on financial, energy and commodity trading, hedging and risk management. He is the founder and managing director of advisory firm risk management with clients in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. Carlos is a former vice president, risk solutions for financial Engineering Associates. There, he worked for six years as a major contributor to the development of estimates of the derivatives and energy risk management models of the firm. He also introduced advanced risk consulting and educational services to more than 500 companies and energy commodity trading and financial institutions around the world. He also managed a world-class support and professional services department within the firm. For FEA, Carlos worked at a hedge fund in the Midwest and asset management firms in Madrid, Spain. He is a former regional director of Professional Risk Managers International Association (PRMIA).
