  Michael Moushon Biography

  Born in Evanston, Ill., adopted and raised a young couple in Westmont, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois, Michael Moushon, singer / songwriter began to realize his love for music at an early age. The son of music lovers, he spent most of his time at home listening to such artists as The Beach Boys, James Taylor, Simon & Garfunkel, Aretha Franklin, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles.

  Moushon left home to study music at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. Then he received extensive training in the field of commercial, jazz and classical voice and guitar, piano and various percussion instruments. In 1999, only 19 years, Michael moved to New York to study voice of Katie Agresta and work in the recording and engineering in the studio recording the image. Moushon then ventured out to Los Angeles in 2000 to study voice of Gloria Bennett, Los Angeles and the trainee and the Sugarhill Vanguard Records.

  Moushon for songwriting led him to continue his performances of original material. Michael began playing regularly in various locations across the country. His performances have ranged from bars, colleges and universities, restaurants, resorts, clubs, hotels, parties, charity events and conferences across the country. Moushon up and performed his songs for the television networks and other stations in Illinois.

  Moushon admits: “Traveling through the country and abroad made me want to perform and write music that will to some extent, speak and relate to different types of people represented in my audience.”

  Moushon moved to Boston in January 2002 to attend Berklee College of Music to study, as the voice of principle, and to continue a career in music. Michaels current team consists of players from South America, Asia and Europe.

  Moushon performs its original music, a mixture of jazz chords, pop tunes in the context of a rock band at his concerts across the country and abroad. He feels at home on stage, and put all of himself in every performance. In his young career as a singer / songwriter Michael Moushon at all times be determined and motivated to develop innovative and fresh ways to reach people.
