• ISPE submitted a revised Certified Pharmaceutical Industry Professional (CPIP) Credential

  ISPE announced today that it has reintroduced Certified Pharmaceutical Industry Professional (CPIP) credential with the revised criteria and re-certification requirements and simplified the application process. CPIP shelter will now experience a streamlined eligibility and recertification requirements, earlier access to the program for young professionals, as well as pay more attention to the pharmaceutical industry-specific knowledge and skills.

  ISPEs Professional Certification Commission (PCC), an independent body within ISPE, responsible for monitoring CPIP credential is recommended these changes to ensure that the program is accessible and useful for pharmaceutical professionals worldwide. Our goal in the program CPIP has always been a positive influence the pharmaceutical industry, and this review confirmed that the CPIP credential is entitled to do so, said Ken Ewan, chairman of the PCC. We hope and believe that the changes that will contribute to an even greater number of our colleagues industry to embrace the benefits of certification CPIP and separates himself as a competent, dedicated technical specialists.

  RCC revised vision CPIP credential shift the focus to the career life-cycle management approach to the technical competence and evaluation of the content of such competency as a requirement for awarding credentials. Education and experience requirements are an important part of the application process right CPIP, but written copies, which was devoted to non-pharmaceutical specific skills were excluded from the process. In addition, the re-certification process has been revised to a three-year process, attention is paid to the preservation and demonstration of basic pharmaceutical specific technical skills.
