Global Grain Asia 2012 is an important development for grain and oilseeds trade.

In Asia becomes the center of attention in the industry as the main driver of grain and oilseed demand, international trade flows have changed dramatically. They have far-reaching consequences for the industry as a whole, whether in the field of international trade, regional consumption, logistics, transportation, or finance. Global Grain Asia 2012 Speaker series, consisting of international experts and prominent players in the market, it may well provide insight into the daily problems and long-term opportunities for the industry.

18 sessions will revolve around three main themes:

supply and demand for grains (Dan Bass, AgResource), oilseeds (Abah Ofon, Standard Chartered Bank), rice (Olam International), and the freight market (Peter Kerr, Dinah, Howe Robinson) will be a big part in the conference program. In conjunction with presentations addressing specific issues such as Chinese or Korean buying patterns (Wei Bin, China National Grain and oilseed information center, Sung Ki NOC, CJ Corp CheilJedang), the Black Sea to Asia trade flows (Ozan Ozturk, Agrozan) or funding issues in the field of international trade (John Baker, Rabobank) and discussion forums, bringing together professionals working in the main origin (Argentina, Australia, Eastern Europe, Canada, USA) to discuss the current state of international origin, these issues will be fully covered.

supply chain issues also occupy an important place in the program, with market participants and experts discussed how routing, logistics and transportation infrastructure landscape in Asia is changing as a result of increasing trade flows to and from the region (Alex Zhang, New Hope Group; Greg Harvey, Interflour group, Paul Harrison, Group SGS).
