• Ascott provides his first Serviced Residence in Iskandar Malaysia

The new 204-unit Somerset Puteri Harbour, Iskandar is scheduled to open in the flagship Nusajaya economic zone in 2013. Contract awarded to Nusajaya Consolidated Sdn Bhd, a joint venture established between Malaysia’s development of the United Malay Land Bhd and UEM Land Berhad.

  Mr. Lim Ming Yan, Ascotts chief executive officer, said Malaysia has great potential for growth due to Ascott sustainable economy and attractiveness as a destination for foreign direct investment. The government has invested heavily in the development of Iskandar region to stimulate economic growth Malaysias. In addition to attracting investments over RM70 billion of foreign and domestic companies, major tourism projects in Iskandar also bring tremendous opportunities for serviced apartments.
