    For Kota Kinabalu, check this out (www.sabahtravelguide.com)

    Stay around China town or Little India in singapore.

    From Sabah, East Malaysia to Kuala Lumpur, Peninsular Malaysia (Asia Mainland), you can take a 3-hour direct flight everyday.

    From Kuala Lumpur to Singapore, you can take the six-hour train at the Petronas Towers known as the Kuala Lumpur Commercial Center.

    There are also regular daily direct flights from KK to Singapore.

    While in Kota Kinabalu, you may stay at any of these budget hotels:

    4. Kota Kinabalu Bird Sanctuary
    4. Tunku Abdul Rahman Park
    5. Petagas War Memorial
    6. Heroes’ Monument
    7. Gaya Street Fair every Sunday (love it there! flea market where all sorts of things are displayed even exotic animals.)
    8. Shangri-la Tanjung Aru Resort
    9. Nexus Resort Karambunai
    10. Sutera Harbor
    11. gigantic mosques
